Magic Fingers Institute’s 1,000-hour Hybrid Cosmetology Program prepares students for an exciting, hands-on career in the beauty industry as licensed cosmetologists in New York State. This comprehensive course is designed to help students pass the New York State Board Examination while mastering the most up-to-date salon services and beauty techniques.

The program is divided into two phases:

Phase 1: Foundational Training

Students will begin with theoretical and technical instruction in health & safety, infection control, haircutting, hairstyling, chemical hair services, manicuring, skincare, makeup, and more. The curriculum includes bookwork, reading, learning activities, and engaging classroom sessions.

Phase 2: Core & Practical Experience

After mastering the fundamentals, students will transition into client-focused training, working on real clients under instructor supervision to build confidence and develop real-world salon skills. Emphasis will be placed on both technical ability and professional development.
