Magic Fingers Institute’s Barbering Program is a 600-hour hybrid course (in-person & virtual learning) designed to prepare students for licensure and success as professional barbers in New York State. This dynamic program provides a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical skills to help students master the art and science of barbering.

The first phase focuses on classroom-based theory and interactive learning activities covering barbering fundamentals, sanitation, anatomy, chemistry, and more. In the second phase, students gain real-world experience through hands-on training, working with clients under the guidance of licensed instructors.

By the end of the program, students will be prepared to take the New York State Barbering Licensing Examination and begin a rewarding career in the grooming and beauty industry.
