Nail Specialty
Program Overview
The Nail Specialty Program at Magic Fingers Institute offers a 400-hour hybrid course designed to prepare students for an exciting and creative career as licensed nail specialists in New York State. This program provides both theoretical instruction and hands-on practical training in the latest nail care services, hygiene practices, and salon-ready techniques.
The first half of the program covers foundational knowledge in areas like health & safety, sanitation, and core nail techniques through bookwork, reading, and interactive classroom activities. Our students will learn the art and science of manicuring, pedicuring, gel nails, nail enhancements, and more.
The second half is dedicated to real-world salon simulation where students practice on clients under instructor supervision. Emphasis is placed on mastering both technical and professional skills to prepare for long-term success in the beauty industry.
